Cookie Policy

Cookies and browser storage on this website, explained in a few short sections.

Last updated: 23 October 2026

zoryli operates zoryli.com. This page sets out which entries the site places on your device, why they are used, what happens when a cookie notice is accepted or rejected, and how an answer can be withdrawn.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a short piece of text that a site leaves in your browser to remember a setting or a choice. Browsers have a comparable local storage area for small entries that stay until they are deleted, and this policy treats both in the same way.

2. Content embedded from other providers

At present no content from other providers with cookies of its own is built into this website. Should a map or a video be embedded in future, its provider may store information on your device as soon as it is shown, and this page would be changed before that happens.

3. Which cookies this website uses

Only a few entries are needed to run this website, which presents information and contact details rather than an account area or an online shop. Strictly necessary entries keep the pages usable and secure and include any value that remembers a decision about a cookie notice; for them no consent is required under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

One of these entries is a cookie set by the server that delivers the pages. It holds a random identifier, no name or contact details, and lets the server recognise a browser that comes back, so that one visit is handled as one and automated misuse can be turned away. It is renewed with each visit and expires 30 days after the last one.

4. Consent and the cookie notice

If this website shows a cookie notice, it appears on your first visit with one button to agree and one to decline. Your answer is then kept as a single value in the local storage of that browser (localStorage); the notice itself sets no cookie. In another browser, on another device or where storage is blocked, it is shown again.

5. Withdrawing your consent and deleting cookies

Consent given earlier can be withdrawn at any time, as easily as it was given: clear the data this website has stored in your browser and open a page again, so the saved answer is gone and, where a notice is shown, you can decide once more. Independently of that, every common browser offers settings for cookies and site data, where stored entries can be inspected or deleted.

6. Advertising, tracking and personal data

This website carries no advertising or retargeting cookies and no cross-site tracking of any kind, and we do not create visitor profiles. Entries that can be linked to a person are personal data: the privacy policy of zoryli sets out the purposes, the legal grounds, the retention and your rights.

7. Storage periods

Cookies either last for the current session and are discarded when the browser is closed, or they remain for a limited period so that a setting is still known on a later visit. A value saved by a cookie notice is given no expiry date and stays in the browser until it is deleted there.

8. Updates to this policy and questions

We review this policy when the website changes, when new functions are added or when the rules develop; only the version on this page applies, and the date at the top shows its last revision. Questions can be sent to zoryli at hello@zoryli.com or asked by telephone on 01473 582 140.
