zoryli takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This page describes which data we process on zoryli.com, for which purposes and which rights the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 give you. It applies to everyone who visits the website and to people who contact us by email or through the contact form.
Who is responsible
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is zoryli, 14 Quayside Yard, Ipswich IP4 1BT, United Kingdom. You can reach us by email at hello@zoryli.com or by phone at 01473 582 140. The policy covers the pages published under zoryli.com and the enquiries we receive through them.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interests and to receive your data in a portable format. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, a message to hello@zoryli.com is enough. To be sure that we are dealing with the right person, we may ask you to confirm your identity; our answer follows within the statutory period and is free of charge.
If you believe that we handle your data unlawfully, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), in addition to any other remedy.
Purpose and legal basis
The information described here serves a limited set of purposes: running zoryli.com without faults, answering your questions, preparing offers or agreements and meeting the duties that come with running a business.
Each use of data has a ground of its own: your consent, a contract or the talks that lead to it, an obligation we have to meet, or our legitimate interest in running this site securely. You are free not to give us details, but without them an answer may not be possible.
How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as statutory retention periods require. After that it is deleted or the reference to a person is removed.
Server logs are removed by our hosting provider after a short period. Messages stay with us while the matter is open and for some time afterwards, in case you return to the same question.
Sharing of data
We do not trade in personal data. It reaches only the companies that keep this site online and handle our email on our behalf, bound by contract to our instructions, and the authorities that are entitled to request it.
Some of the providers we work with may keep or process data in another country. When that happens, the transfer takes place only with the safeguards that the rules on data protection require for it.
How we protect data
Technical and practical safeguards protect the data we hold against loss, alteration and access by people who are not entitled to it. Where your browser supports it, the connection to this website is encrypted.
No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot exclude every risk. Within our company, access to the messages we receive is limited to the people who answer them.
Data processed on this website
Visiting the website creates server log entries: IP address, time of access, requested file, transferred data volume, browser and operating system. We use these entries only to operate the site safely, to keep it available and to investigate technical errors.
Messages sent through the contact form or by email, together with your name, the address we should reply to and any details you add yourself, are kept for as long as it takes to handle the matter you wrote about.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website keeps stored entries to a minimum. It does not use advertising cookies, it does not follow visitors across other sites, and an answer you give to a cookie notice stays in your own browser.
You can see which entries this website has stored, delete them and refuse new ones at any time in the settings of your browser. Blocking storage that the pages need may mean that parts of the site no longer work.
Amendments to this notice
We revise this notice whenever the way we handle data changes. The current wording is always published here, and the date at the top tells you when it was last updated.
We do not announce every amendment separately, so it is worth checking this page from time to time. Where a change concerns processing that rests on your consent, we ask for that consent again before it takes effect.
