What we run for your broadcast

  • Live Video Operation

    Live Video Operation

Vision mixing, camera direction and replay handling for live concerts, festivals and stage events. The operator in the chair keeps the show moving while the director's calls are followed exactly.

  • Signal Management

    Signal Management

We route, monitor and back up live signals so a feed stays on air without interruption. Every path has a second route ready, and each one is checked before the first camera goes live.

  • Content Distribution

    Content Distribution

Finished feeds go to news programmes and television broadcasters in the formats they request. Deliveries are scheduled, formats are checked beforehand, and each handover is confirmed with the receiving desk.

  • Camera Crews

    Camera Crews

Experienced camera operators for news gathering, festival stages and party events. Crews arrive briefed, work to the producer's shot list and adapt quickly when a scene changes.

Scenes from the kind of work we do

These scenes show the settings where our crews and engineers usually work, from control rooms to open fields. Each one reflects a part of keeping a live feed dependable.

Vision mixing for a live stage show

An operator cuts between cameras while the director calls shots. Clear talkback and a rehearsed cue sheet keep the mix steady through changes of act.

Signal routing rack check

An engineer reviews monitors and patching before a broadcast. Primary and backup paths are tested one by one so a fault can be switched around quickly.

A camera operator frames a performance from the pit. Positions are agreed in advance with the producer so shots stay consistent across the set.

Cable runs and power are laid out in a field before the event opens. Routes are marked and protected so crowds and weather do not interrupt the feed.

Finished feeds are prepared here in the formats each broadcaster requests. Delivery times are logged and each file or stream is checked before it leaves.

Monitoring wall during a live news feed

Several feeds are watched side by side on a monitoring wall. Any drop in quality is spotted early and handled before it reaches the audience.

About us

A feed hub built on steady habits

zoryli was founded in 2012 in Ipswich and has spent the years since working with news programmes, television broadcasters and event organisers who cannot afford a dropped signal.

The work covers the whole chain: camera crews on the ground, signal routing behind the scenes and delivery to the broadcaster in the format they ask for. One team follows a feed from first rehearsal to final handover.

Helen Marsh leads video operations, Daniel Whitcombe designs the signal paths and Priya Nair coordinates deliveries. Each knows what the others need, which keeps handovers short and plain.

How we work

Why a feed stays steady when conditions change

A reliable feed is mostly preparation. Before anything goes live we agree what is being shown, who receives it and what happens if one part fails. That plan is what the crew follows under pressure.

Plan before the day

We begin with the brief: venue, run of show, camera positions and the formats each broadcaster expects. A site visit or a call with the producer settles power, cable routes and where the signal will leave the building. Questions are asked early, when changes cost little. By the rehearsal, everyone on the crew has the same cue sheet and knows who to call for each part of the setup.

Watch every path

During the broadcast, signals are monitored continuously rather than checked now and then. Primary and backup routes run side by side, so a failing link can be swapped without the viewer noticing. Daniel keeps the backup routes ready and logs anything unusual. If something does drift, the operator on duty already knows which route to take and tells the director in plain terms.

Hand over cleanly

When the event ends, the work is not finished until the broadcaster has what they asked for. Priya checks formats before each delivery, schedules the transfer and confirms receipt with the receiving desk. Anything that needs a second pass is dealt with straight away. Producers get a clear account of what was sent and when, so there is nothing left to chase afterwards.

What guides the work

  1. Reliability

A feed is only useful if it arrives. We build in backup routes, test them before going live and keep the same people on a job from rehearsal to handover.

  2. Clarity

Crews and producers speak in plain terms. Cue sheets, shot lists and delivery notes say exactly what is expected, so no one has to guess during a live show.

  3. Calm under pressure

When a link drops or a schedule shifts, the crew stays quiet and methodical. Decisions are made from a known plan rather than in a rush.
